Winnie ther Pooh
my group taught my writing class today, went pretty well, tho there were 3 of us in my group and we decided that we would divide the class time into 3 20min sections and each of us would teach one. Well I got the last section, and when the other 2 were done there was still about 40mins of class left! aaarrggg!! but it ended up ok b/c it meant that when i divided the class into sections to do group discussions and prepare an amusin reading of a poem, i could give them more time.
ok, now onto the confusion...at the end of the class one member of my group was giving some info on AA Milne, who wrote the House on Pooh Corner, and she said that Milne had said that Winnie the Pooh is actually a feminine name, and so in order to make it masculine, Milne said that it's really Winnie ther Pooh (yes with an r)...why? because Milne said so that's why! That amused and confused me =P...Winnie ther Pooh...Winnie was a bear at the zoo...Pooh was a swan...thus Milne came up with the name Winnie the Pooh...
So in my theater class yesterday my teacher was like "So I'm assuming all of you have read the rest of the plays for this class, right?"...sudden silence fills the room...I almost had a heart attack, i was like gaah i haven't even read the play assigned for this week let alone the rest of the year!!...she soon discovered that none of us had read any of the plays past the one due the last week =P blah they take forever to read and we don't really recieve a grade on reading them...but by tomorrow we all have to decide on what scenes we want to do for our final at the end of the month, it has to be a scene with a partner..since there's only 4 people in this class it means either a scene altogether or in pairs. I think altogether would be better cause then we'd have more in class time to practice it.
I hit the snooze button for 1 1/2 hours this morning (meaning for 1 1/2 hours I was hitting a button every ten mins) It's really hard to get myself up early on mornings that I don't have school, but I really try to if I have a lot of work to do. In the end getting up early doesn't help me much...i'm not a morning person, i just want to laz around, and when i try to do work i get distracted easily, or end up staring at what I should be working on for an hour or 2 =P
sorry, this is getting long, so I'm gonna stop now =P

wait i have one more thing that's annoying me...i was looking thru pics of me and my friends at dances last year, and it annoys me that there r like no good pics of me...my conclusion= my friends suck at taking pictures. cause when i say there r no good pics of me im not only talking about how i look but how the pics r lined up in the frame and all, either they're way too close up or too far away...or maybe it's that I'm comparin them to the pics I took, forgive me for braggin =P but i'm pretty good at takin pictures, hahar
found this pic on google awhile ago..these guys tied nuts to the end of strings and went Squirrel fishing in Central park =D they didn't think the squirrels would actually go after the strings =P
