   So cold
Well, I got the first coat of white paint on my fan. Hopefully tomorrow won't be as cold and no rain so I can paint the second coat.

   Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween everyone. I wasn't able to get all the parts for my cosplay together, but it gives me more time to get it done now! I decided to decorate my door in the dorms with candy just to see if people would take it. I guess I'll have to wait until tonight to see if it works.

   Fan!
I finally found a fan on Ebay. It was only $40 with shipping and all and it will be 3 feet tall folded up and about 5 1/4 feet wide when opened. Once I get it I will have to paint the wood and use white paint to get rid of the few calligraphy things on the fan.

   Hehehe
I know I haven't posted for awhile, but I am in school and my schoolwork takes priority for now. My roommate has convinced me to cosplay for the anime convention in February. I'm going to be doing Temari from Naruto, because she is the only good female ninja. I was lucky and found a huge fan on Ebay that all I will have to do is paint the few symbols painted on it white and then paint the three purple dots. I'll keep you posting about this stuff, and hopefully I'll be able to test everything out this Halloween.

   Sick
Well I'm finally back at school and since I'm in a dorm once again, I just got sick! I hate living in a dorm where everyone is, but hopefully I'll be able to get the annoying freshmen on my floor sick.

Well its the end of my first week of school and all of my professors seem pretty cool. It's raining too and my anime club has a meeting tonight. I hope the rain clears up by then.

   School
This is my first week back to school and all my professors are ok so far. Two haven't submitted a booklist for classes so I don't have books. I went to visit my old office today and it was alot of fun seeing most of the people I worked with. I met the three new interns I'm sure they'll be good for the office.

   New York City
Finally I’ve got the time to quickly write about my trip to New York City. When my family was on the train to NYC the engine broke and we had to coast into the Philadelphia train station and then waited an hour until a new engine was put in. When we finally got to NYC it was late in the afternoon and my ten-year-old sister had to go to the American Girl Doll Place which is the biggest store of doll stuff I’ve ever seen. I almost forgot to mention that the first day in NYC was my birthday, and you can imagine how a college student feels in a four story store with nothing but little girls running around. We then got to eat in the little café they had on the four floor and my little sister enjoyed it so that was all that mattered. In the morning of day two my mother hurt her back so she had to stay in the hotel while my dad and little sister went to the UN. It was fun to go on the tour and stuff. They had a lot of rooms they can’t use like the anti-colonization council room. We went back to the hotel to pick my mom up and change so we could go see Spamalot. It was so funny seeing Monty Python on Broadway, my little sister hasn’t stopped singing all the songs from the play. Day three came around and in the early morning we went to ground zero where the World Trade Center once stood and saw the construction of the Freedom Tower that is suppose to be finished by the end of the year. It was a somber experience but I wanted to go since my dad was in the Pentagon on 9/11. We then hopped on a ferry to go to the Statue of Liberty and spent a few hours there. My dad and I then hopped on the metro so I could go meet one of my friends and try to get into the Colbert Report, and we ended up waiting in line for an hour for nothing. We then went to eat at a cool Italian restaurant and then went to the Empire State Building while the city was lit with lights since it was dark. The last day was the day to get all of our stuff packed and then hop on a train back to DC.
