Well, hi! I suppose it's time for my bi-annual post, isn't it? What's new... what's new...
I am no longer working for the government. My contract was up and there wasn't a place for me there anymore, so I'm all done with that. I learned a ton and made a couple of good friends, so for that, it was all worthwhile.
I am still working at the same clothing store I have been for the last couple of years. It's a (very small) paycheque, but worth staying with because of the killer discount as well as the friends I've made there. Like, how many people can say that their boss is their friend. I can!
Other than that, it's been a summer for redecorating. I'm in the middle of choosing new paint for my bedroom. I bought new linens on an impulse and they do not match my current purple accent wall.. so I will be painting very soon. I'm insanely jealous of friends who have been buying up houses in the city and I'm getting a bit anxious to find a stable, well-paying career so that I can do something like that too. I'm thinking condo or townhouse, hm?

And the Dream Ends, When the Phone Rings...
Merry Christmas, friends.. I hope you are all having a wonderful day today. I hope that you are enjoying delicious food and drinks and music and Christmas specials on TV. I hope you got some lovely gifts and that the people you bought gifts for loved them. I also hope that you have had the chance to spend time with people you love and who love you. It's cliche, but that's the most important thing.. It really is...
