   "Save me come tomorrow/
Lead me to my urgency/
See I'm no more, no less/
Of an angel/
Than you'd have me be/
So, lets shake it like this..." -Collective Soul (No More No Less)

Oooookayyy... so my prof just sent us a link to a site that has something called an "antichrist quiz" Is that the quiz you take to find out if you're the antichrist? Or does it tell you something else? I'm afraid to find out...

Last night in History of R 'n' R, we learned about the beginnings of Alvin and the Chipmunks. We also learned that we have Pat Boone to thank for Christian Rock. Alrighty then... I'm going to try to track down his cover of Stairway to Heaven. That ought to be a gooder.. Or maybe not. You never know.... Have a super-fantastic day guys!

   "You preach synthetic-like/
Peace is an oversight/
It's nothing to ignite/
Your self-lit spotlight/
Hey I hope you're feeling/
A little special now/
Hey I want to tell you/
I think you're special now..." -Collective Soul (Smashing Young Man)

***SEVEN DAYS!!!***

Heheh.. now if the were a creepy voice on the phone, that'd be scary.. Ya know.. Like in the movie The Ring? *crickets chirp* Oh nevermind...

I'm feling a little better today.. I'm not freezing my ass of anymore either. It was just a cold day, I suppose.. But then, this is Canada so that would be downright.... logical... I still want to sleep lots though. Hibernate. Maybe I'm part bear... That was a stupid thought, forget I said anything!

I handed in my short paper (long paragraph) for Apocalypse class. (That's the class where I read the apocalyptic bits out of the Bible and find something intelligent to say about them. Interesting, but hurts the brain.) It went over pretty well I think. I've got decent grammar at least, so that helps. We'll see though. I already need to start coming up with an idea for a big final project. 3000 words on a topic of my choice. So how does "Apocalyptic Themes in Modern Day Films" sound? I'll get to watch lots of scary movies. Yay! Oh, I mean, aaaaaaaAAAhhhhh!!

Anyways, off to class I go.. Prison Break tonight! Wohoo!!! Told you I was hooked! Happy Monday! (as happy as Mondays get, that is)

   "What I like about you/
You keep me warm at night/
Never wanna let you go/
You know you make me feel alright/
Keep on whispering in my ear/
Tell me all the things that I want to hear/
'Cause it's true/
That's what I like about you..." -The Ramones (What I Like About You)

Wasn't feeling so great for a few days there.. I'm still not, really... I just seem to want to sleep an awful lot lately. I'll go to bed at around midnight, like usual, but then I'll sleep right through my alarm until noon or 1 in the afternoon. And even then I sometimes can't stay awake. I even skipped Apocalypse class on Wednesday because of it. It's been 2 weeks and I'm already skipping. Sad. Maybe stress is getting to me again. But I'm addicted to stress that's the way I get things done, if I'm not under pressure then I sleep too long.. Damn I love that song. And I just can't seem to get warm. I want to wear mittens indoors...

I'll do my best to catch up with everyone today. If my fingers thaw out enough to type decently, that is...

"What you will and what you won't/
What you do and what you don't/
What you can and what you can't/
This is what you need to know:/
Loved you though it didn't show/
Ich lieb' dich nicht, du liebst mich nicht, aha..." -Trio (Da Da Da)

I love it I love it I love it...

Well, I didn't do much today, apart from go to class.. Just this very moment I have realized how full my brain is of utterly useless trivia. Well alright, maybe not entirely useless, but really, I highly doubt I'm ever going to become a famous musician, despite what my bio over there might lead you to believe *points*. So why do I take such a keen interest in things like 8 and 12 bar blues, catchy guitar riffs, walking basslines, Apocalyptic scripture, and history of religions I don't believe in.. Maybe I'm just being all cynical again, but in order to make room for all this junk, I've had to push some old stuff out of my brain.. Like, I can't remember... well, I'd tell you what it is, except I can't remember! Dammit. Oh well.. If you're not having fun, then what's the friggin' point. For the most part, I'm having fun...

   "Shiny happy people laughing/
Meet me in the crowd/
People, people/
Throw your love around/
Love me love me..." -REM (Shiny Happy People)

Man... I'm going to be baking apple pies until next year.. My Mom and Dad picked all the apples from out tree out back today.. I helped a little but wasn't feeling so great, so I wasn't really much help. So they filled a 10 gallon pail, and a couple of good sized boxes.. and that's only half of what was on thre tree.. We lost half of them to the paved back alley, and a bunch to the stupid chirpy birds. But still.. I may have to go apple ditching. That's when you pack 'em into bags and then sometime in the night you run around the neighborhood and leave random bags of apples on people's doorsteps. Repeat as needed with zucchinni and rhubarb...

Oh the hilarity of Canadian signage.. Heheh, see, this is why we're such nice people. Our government is laid back and dosent take stuff so seriously. Ever see This Hour Has 22 Minutes? Now that's what I'M talkin' about! Hahaha! Happy Monday guys. As happy as Mondays get, that is...

"You talk about things and nobody cares/
You're wearing other things that nobody wears/
You're calling my name but you gotta make clear/
I can't say baby where I'll be in a year..." -Aerosmith (Sweet Emotion)

Guh... It always has to happen. Any time I stay up or out late, I get a call early in the morning to fill in at stupid work... It wasn't so bad today though. I got to fill in for the chick who sliced her finger, and that meant pretty much just going in and packaging bread up. I didn't really have to talk to too many people, and I got to work with one of my favourites. Oooh, and I still have... one, two, five... all ten fingers!! Yesssssss....

Now, would you not LOVE to see that sign on the side of the road? Maybe if we put a little bit of humor in our road signs, there'd be less road rage? Oh, but then the foreign tourists would be confused and the little old chinese ladies would drive even worse.. (Oh, Mrs. Chow, when will you ever learn....) Anywho.. That's all from me.. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, if at all possible. Salut!

   "Oh, god I.../
Every memory of lookin’ out the back door/
I got the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor/
It’s hard to say it, time to say it/
Goodbye, goodbye..." -Nickelback (Photograph)

Always fun and games at work I tell ya.. So, there I am up front, doing what I do, when from behind me comes a faint scream. Turns out new chick put her finger too close to a moving blade and got a nice chop. Not the whole finger, no worries there, but it was bleeding pretty good, so we bandaged her up and sent her to emergency. We'll see tomorrow whether or not she had to have stitches or anything.. Her new nickname is "Shredder".

So, more good news! YTV is now airing Naruto! Wohoo! I'm back in the loop! I'm not a fan of the english voices though.. They're also showing the Ghost in the Shell series. So that's pretty cool. I missed it last week though. Ahhh well. They'll do reruns. They always do. Now with some new anime on there, maybe they can do away with some of the garbage like, Hamtaro *shudder* and SD Gundam Force *double shudder* and Pingu *frightened look*. Alright, so that last one isn't exactly anime, but it IS crap! Avoid it at all costs people, you hear me?! You'll be dumber for having watched only the first thirty seconds! You have been warned....

So until next time kids.. Keep your hands and arms away from the moving parts, and have a good weekend!

"Because you know that life ain't over yet/
I'm here for you so don't forget/
You can count on me/
Cause’ I will carry you till you carry on/
Anytime you need someone/
Somebody strong to lean on/
Well you can count on me/
To hold you till the healing is done..." -Default (Count On Me)

Well, I snarked at the person who tried to pin the party planning on me, and it wasn't so much pinned on me as it was a lack of communication. I thought she was doing it, she thought I was doing it.. blah blah, and so forth.. so it's postponed until next weekend so we can sort all the details out..

This evening, I recieved a truly shocking email. Not as shocking as the first time I got it, mind you.. It's the one with the picture of a carton of eggs with faces digitized onto them. Multiple people have told me that one of them looks just like me. if that's not creepy, I don't know what is! I refuse to post it for you all to make fun of. Sorry. But you get this instead...

I find it very funny that that's exactly the time period I'm studying in Apocalypse class.. I can refer to "Life of Brian" liberally! Mwaahahaha! Alright, so it's historically inacurate, but so what? it's fun! If you haven't seen it, go do it now! I command you!

"The things that I've loved, the things that I've lost/
The things I've held sacred that I've dropped/
I won't lie no more you can bet/
I don't want to learn what I'll need to forget/
I like throwing my voice and breaking guitars/
Cause it doesn't remind me of anything/
I like playing in the sand, what's mine is ours/
If it doesn't remind me of anything..." -Audioslave (Dosen't Remind Me)

Doing my best to maintain my patience and sense of humor with a boss that still dosen't get it. I wrote him a three page letter the other day. Figured it might be a good idea since he dosen't listen too well.. Also that way, he can't put words in my mouth or interrupt me. I get to say what I want. So there's good news and bad news.. The good news is that I didn't get into a shouting match with him like last time. The bad news is, I still don't think he gets it. *sigh* I'm trying my best, but I still think that a LOT of people are going to be leaving...

Yeah, and I found out earlier this evening that I'm supposed to have planned a going away party for someone? Heheh.. It's supposed to be for Friday? As in tomorrow? What the hell? Ya maybe wanna tell me about that?! *facepalm* Why must I be surrounded by frickin' idiots? and yeah, I'd love some sharks with frickin' laser beams attatched to their heads. (that was so '90s, I'm sorry)

Anywho, I've learned how to get through a crowded hallway very easily. I just take out my big, happy blue Bible, with the happy, yellow writing (which I ONLY have because of Apocalypse class), and hold it in my arm in plain sight. I smile a lot... I make eye contact... It's super fantastic watching the people part like the Red Sea. *sigh* good times, good times.. Have a good one guys. I'll do my best to plan a party... I guess... *shrugs*

   "Sound of the drums/
Beating in my heart/
The thunder of guns/
Tore me apart/
You've been/
Thunderstruck..." -AC/DC (Thunderstruck)

***That song is about as old as I am, but every time it comes on the radio, I just have to crank it up real LOUD!!***

Alright, who's a Modern Language dropout?! *waves arms* Oooh ooh, I am! I'm going to drop out of French class, return my stupid $10 textbook, and go see the advisors to figure out what i can do so that the French I HAVE taken isn't going to have been a total waste of my time. Find some kind of general major or something.. I dunno.. But one class I won't be dropping out of is History of Rock and Roll! Whoo! So far, pretty much all it is, is a big game of Name That Tune! And it's mostly stuff that the theatre group that I sometimes work for has done in past shows. So really, I'm set. A+ for me! Yessssss....

Oooh, hey, anyone watch that new show 'Prisonbreak'? IT'S SWEET!! I haven't been hooked on a show this bad since Queer as Folk! Sadly I missed pretty much the entire final season of that, due to being sidetracked by shiny things.. Oh, alright, it wasn't shiny things.. It was MSN. Happy? Anywho, the main character purposely lands himself in prison so that he can bust his brother (who has been framed for murder and is on death row) out. He's got a blueprint of the prison sneakily disguised in a body covering tatoo.. Really cool looking. It's a creepy and twisted show, just the way I like 'em, so I highly recommend watching it next week!

Here's the good lookin' guy with the tattoos.. *drool* Heheh, enjoy, ladies! Happy Tuesday guys and girls!
