Hey guys.. How are... things? Well, I sneezed three times today so I'm worried that I might be getting sick.. It's been freakin' cold here the last couple of days and it rained all day today. Perfect timing too.. (note sarcasm) My staff party is this weekend and I'm hosting it at my house.. so I've got a whole buch of stuff to get done before Friday and it would really help if I DON'T get sick now. I did last year when we had the party at my house and it sucked. There it was, middle of summer and I've got a wicked cold. Meh, I just drank it better.. Heheheh.. I need sleep... bad...

It's also costing a little more than I thought it would.. But I guess we had about $250 dollars extra since we didn't have to rent a place or get a liquor licence (you have to get one whether you're brining alcohol or not, isn't hat dumb? Like if you're having an Elementary school party you still have to have a liquor licence! As if you're going to have a bunch of ten year olds running around drunk. Bah hah! Yah right!) Anyways.. So we spent all that extra cash on Hawaiian themed decorations and another couple hundred on prizes and one-use cameras for a photo scavenger hunt.. So now I'm trying to suck up to all the department managers to get them to donate stuff food-wise. Wish me luck getting some lettuce out of the Produce guy.. I hear he's tough for that..

I'm going to do my best to catch up with sites today. I'll get to as many as I can between my bouts of cleaning and before I leave for work. Because I miss you all already. Hahaha!

Just a quick postage to say that I'm sorry for being MIA this week. I haven't been feeling 100% and therefore, I haven't been visiting everyone's site as often as I usually do, and I feel kinda bad about it. Makes me feel a little selfish when I post stuff and everyone comes by, but then I don't visit back.. *sigh*

This week is going to be crazy-go-nuts too. The stress almost makes me want to cry.. So I want to say in advance that I'm sorry for not visiting! But I shall return! Take care and have a good week everyone!

Rather lengthy LJ post, ranting about all the garbage that went on today.. Three hours out of my life I'll never get back. I don't know if it's just because I'm conceited or if it's because I was the only woman in the room, but I thought, on several occasions that I was the only one making any sense.. Not that I'm saying that men, in general don't make any sense, but.. Ahhhh... I'm just digging a deeper hole, aren't I? I'm cut off, no more talking about that. It was a pile of crap, and that's all we really need to know about it. *nods*

I'm going to go and have a good sleep.. I've been crashing in my sister's room since we've had family staying with us, and I always get the boot with these particular relatives. Heheh. Oh well.. and I can sleep in a little bit, unlike you poor suckers who have to go to class. But hey, don't feel bad. In a cuple more weeks I'LL be one of those suckers too.. Alright... The award for best caution sign goes to...

This lil' guy right here! Bah hah!! I need a few of those to pop up around the house. Especially after the cats get outside and eat grass... Heheh, the one got out and did just that the other day. Then we brought him back inside and he started yakking up something. My mom yells at me.. "Con! Help him! Do something!" and I'm like "Uhhh.. you want me to help the cat throw up? I think he's got it covered there..." Heheheh, then I got the teacher look. Meh, I'm just glad it wasn't followed by the trademark 'teacher tap'!

The 'teacher tap' can be difficult to do. You kind of have to curve your first finger into a hook and aim for a point about an inch below the skin of the person you are tapping. The shoulder is usually best, but the forehead is also quite annoying. Like when someone pins you down and starts smacking your forehead and shouting "name ten chocolate bars, Name ten chocolate bars, name ten chocolate bars...." Take it from me, that sucks... a lot... It's virtually impossible to think of ten when someone is drumming on your forehead. Owww... BUt anyways, back to the point of this paragraph.. If you get it just right, the 'teacher tap' it can be rather painful, but it sure gets your attention! Hot damn!

Good news, I've found the compy I want! Wohoo! If I'm serious here, (and I am) I could have it by Friday! Awesome!!! Anywho, this post got really random on me.. I guess that's what happens when you type while you're tired... Nonsensical babble comes out. Oh, wait.. that happens like, every day! Hahaha! Have a good one guys! TTFN!

That's it, I've had it.. I MUST have a new computer.. Either that of schedule an exorcism for this one... I'm a fan of multitasking, but now I can barely do even two things at once, let alone the four I used to be able to do.. For example, I CAN run netscape or explorer and be on MSN at the same time, but only one tab open at a time. I've run the virus scan and ad-aware and defragmented the hard drive, and deleted almost 100 useless files and it's still driving me mad.

*sprinkles compy with holy water* Out foul demons! Out, I say!!

Saaaay, you guys know how to make holy water? Heheheh, it's easy, you take some regular water, put it in a kettle and... boil the hell out of it! Hahaha! Get it? Or is it just my lame-ass sense of humor again? Yeah, that's probably it.. Anywho, wish me happy compy hunting.. let me find a good dea, and be FREE of this POS ASAP! Hahaha!

Okay, so remember I said at one point that I was a bit of a tree hugger? (A BIT, not an ALL-OUT tree hugger...) Take a quick look at THIS VIDEO and see if you don't agree with me at least a little. It's funny, but it really gets the point across that it's an idiotic idea to be drilling for oil in a wildlife refuge, no?

SO, I forgot to mention it the other day, but THANKS FOR 1100 HITS!! I was going to do up an image or something for the occasion, but alas, I am just unmotivated right now. And that's that...

I did a little clean-up of my friends list too. I deleted a few people who haven't updated in a month or more, and a couple of others who I'm pretty sure, have NEVER been back after signing the guestbook. I mean, come on. I'm not a sheep and I'm not going to follow people around like I am one. I really don't think that's the point of a "FRIENDS" list. Heheh.. Alright, oddity of the day... I'm at work this afternoon, when a cop walks in and asks to speak with my supervisor. I call him down and they go off and talk. When my super comes back in, I ask him what's up with the cop, and he tells me that some crazy lady rammed our cube van (big square delivery truck), and took off! Hahahah! Yeah, she was trying to park her boat of a car, I guess, and hit the truck causing maybe a couple hundred dollars worth of damage, not too much. Hard enough to KNOW that she had hit it, anyways. She then proceeds to come into the store and buy stuff, and then leaves without a word to anyone! Canyoubelieveit!? Some guy ratted her out, and goes, "that lady just ran into your guys' truck with her car..." Hahaha! I just get a kick out of that.. But seriously, if you guys hit someone's car would you just take off like that? Or do you have mor of a conscience than that? I would hope so anyways.

Last christmas, I was downtown, and I went into London Drugs.. When I came back out twenty minutes later, there was a nice dent in the tail end of my truck. No note of appology or anything. I was like "Dammit! Who did that?!" Gah! So let that be a lesson to you, kids.. Hit and runs are bad, m'kay? Hahaha! Happy weekend!!

Well, bartending went pretty well. Although my fingers are sore as hell and the nails are starting to come away from the skin underneath a little bit. Owwww.... With four of us working, we opened 300 cans of beer, 250 coolers and about 150 cans of pop. So you can see the reason my nails are trashed. Ahh well, it was a fun time. We even had to go on a beer run and get MORE!! Moved twice as much as last year. Man, those farm guys get thirsty, I tell ya!

On another note, I'm lovin' this background and I'm sorry if it requires anyone to have to highlight the text to read it. I usually try to stay away from that, but there is a serious lack of quality CS wallies out there. Find me a gooder, and I'll consider changing it, but until the concert rolls around, deal with it. Or, hey, just don't read it. I mean, what I have to say is unimportant anyways, so... Ta everybody. Have a great day!
