"And in the naked light I saw/
Ten thousand people, maybe more/
People talking without speaking/
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share/
And no one dared/
Disturb the sound of silence..." -Simon and Garfunkel (The Sound Of Silence)

So I got my truck out of the shop. (again, I know I know..) My dad drove me over to get it and he came inside to see what they had done to it. Turns out that the brakes were pretty much shot. *hyperventilates* That was a little nerve racking, to know that I could have had no brakes. I'm just a little annoyed that the guys at Crappy Tire didn't tell me that when I had it in there last month for an inspection, right before I took it out on THE HIGHWAY! Damn them. In the words of Brak, Never Trust a Monkey!

So then I go to pay for it. I spent kind of a lot of money while I was away, so I thought, 'well I'll just put it on the ol' Master Card.' It gets declined and I start twitching. So my dad puts it on his card and I go home. The lady from Mater Card calls me up and says "we just want to verify an attempted charge on your card.. blah.. yadda.." and I go 'Uh, yeah! That was ME trying to pay off my mechanic! What's the big idea? Is that going to happen every time I try to use my card?" *sigh* If you ask me, they should be checking things like internet purchases, not ones being made two blocks from where I LIVE! Durh. Whatever.

So, anyways, I'll let you guys get out of here. Won't hold you hostage with my fantastic jedi mind powers any longer. Hahaha! (Yah right, Con!) Keep cool, have a good weekend, and please, ignore any further psycho babble I may dish out, as I am prone to bouts of it. TTFN!!

"It's not enough to hear me say you've won/
You only wanted me for havin' fun/
But now I think you've gone and had your way/
And left me with a pile of bills to pay/
I can't even rewind the tape machine/
To listen to your drunken reasoning/
So, goodnight, goodnight..." -Hot Hot Heat (Goodnight Goodnight)

**Typing on the Smackintosh. It rots.**

Thanks guys, for the warm welcome back, and I'm shocked that not a one of you complained about the length of that post! Haha!

Well I've done pretty much nothing but sit around and watch NGE today. Heheh. The cable was out for most of the afternoon and evening so, no computer and no TV for me. I had to find something else to do! *GASP* I read a book too. Kurt Vonnegut is the kind of writer I always wanted to be. He'll make you laugh on minute, and then cry. This book Breakfast Of Champions, was supposed to be funny, but I thought the ending was really sad. Cried a little bit.

Anywho, I'll try to find something a little less boring and a little more funny to say tomorrow. But right now, I'm having a rotten time typing (it's the Smackintosh, remember) and my contact lenses are going wonky on me. I can't realy see anymore, so I'm sorry for any spelling or grammatical errors I've made... I guess I'd better go take care of that, eh? Night night!

   "Whenever I taste/
Honey from your lips/
It’s a moment of purpose/
Only you can give..." -Collective Soul (Under Heaven's Skies)

Back from my trip, finally... SO, here I am, it's Tuesday night and I'm working on about three hours of sleep and very much caffeine... I'm nice and twitchy. Been this way since about five thirty this morning. We left my grandmas house and dropped my mom's aunt at the airport and then just drove the six hours or so back home. Pausing to stop in at Ikea for these awesome window coverings for my room, but couldn't find any colors to match. So we left Ikea having bought a teapot. Can you believe it?!?! All that great stuff and we bought a damn teapot. Ahh, well.. It's a really NICE damn teapot...

So, the "Celebration of Life" Party wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be. I was dreading it the day we left home, so when Saturday came around I just spent most of my time in the kitchen cooking and cleaning up. And not socializing. Heheh.. I'm not one for crowds. If you ask me, this year, there was not nearly enough booze, and altogether too much family. Ten people sleeping at my grandma's three bedroom house. Oooooh. Yeah. Fun times. No really, I love my family.

I even braved the mall. Big accomplishment. Had my hair cut. Ehhh.... That was funny. I got the movie star treatment. At one point I had about three stylists going at me with brushes and blowdryers, making me beeyoootiful! Hahahah! It's nice to be spoiled once in awhile. And I spoiled myself too. Big time. I finally bought that NGE box set I've been searching for. And NO shipping, since I was brave enough to go into the mall, moreover, the comic book shops. *Mary Katherine Gallagher Superstar pose* Heheh. And Trigun Max 4 and 5. Sweet action.

Anywho... Enough boring you all with the gory details. I did check up on sites when I got home, but didn't have the energy to comment on too many. But I DID read, at least. Fill me in on all the juicy gossip! Whoo!!

   "I woke up in a Soho doorway/
A policeman knew my name/
He said 'You can go sleep at home tonight/
If you can get up and walk away'..." -The Who (Who Are You)

**NOTE** Being good never got anyone anywhere. Especially in a game of Lord Of The Rings Risk... I played and lost miserably...

Last post this week guys. I'm off on a bit of a holiday! Not too sure if I'm looking forward to it, but, meh... Grandma's throwing a kegger. Well alright, there may not be a keg this year, and we call it a "Celebration of Life" party. Should be interesting to say the least. But I'll be out of here until Tuesday night, so you get no songs, no insane babbling. It'll be like on TV when the kids go away to summer camp. They get on the bus and as soon as it leaves the parents all break out the champagne and confetti. XD Take care guys, and be sure to fill me in on all the juicy details of whatever goes on while I'm away! Hahaha! Buh bye!!

"Everywhere I go there's someone in a trench coat staring at me/
When I'm not at home I'm sure someone's rummaging through my trash/
Whatever could they want from me/
Is it just a part of a giant government conspiracy?/
I gotta go see my doctor about this itchy pentagram-shaped rash..." -The Barenaked Ladies (Get in Line)

I finally had an odd dream. Which is a good thing because I don't usually have dreams. The bad part is that it involved cat vomit. I thought I heard the cat making that noise (you know the one) so I sat bolt upright, grabbed him and tossed him on the floor. Nothing happened. But I got up to wash my hands anyways. I THINK it was a dream. I dunno...

Aaaannnywho... I've noticed lately that a bunch of people are putting up pictures of themselves. Which is a nice thing to do. Gives you a better idea of who you're talking to and who your friends are. We know I've never been one to resist the bandwagon, so there is a secret link here someplace. It's up to you to find it. Mwahahaha! I feel so very evil. Of course, many of you have already seen it, since I've used it on my MSN before. Happy hunting, and here's hoping for a happy, dream tonight that has nothing to do with cat barf. Heheh, same goes for all of you!

   "No, I won't, be afraid/
Oh I won't/
Be afraid/
Just as long/
As you stand/
Stand by me..." -Ben E. King (Stand By Me)

**Thought it was about time for that one, since I quote it so much...**

So it dosen't look too different around here, does it? Nope. I just added acouple of banner type thingies and made 'em scroll. Would you believe I had a hell of a time with that? There was another image I wanted in there (had to do with evil and laughing etc...) but for some reason it won't show up no matter where I link it from. Dumb thing. Oh well..

So, we went out to the mountains with my cousin on Monday and did a whole lotta stuff.. *pant* Saw some waterfalls, hiked around a bit. We went canoeing which was fun, but then not so fun as the wind came up and made it VERY difficult to paddle in a straight line towards the shore. We went ALL the way to the end and ALL the way back!

There it is on a calm day. (I don't actually have any pictures of this trip as someone forgot the camera. *ahem* Whoops...) So my arms got a serious workout. Owwwwww..... And my face is a little bit crispy, as is my chest just below my neck. Sunburn. Owww again... But it was a fun time depite all that. I did get a little cranky towards the end of the day, but that's only because I was being forced to go shopping, which I hate with a passion. Ahhh well.. Off I go to find something to make the burning feeling on my face stop. Hahaha!

   "Hey, tonight/
Gonna be tonight/
Don't you know I'm flyin'/
Tonight/
Tonight..." -CCR (Hey, Tonight)

Well, mission accomplished.. I've succeeded in getting my sister and my cousin addicted to Fruits Basket! Mwahahaha! So it's going to be a marathon kind of deal, I guess. That, Trigun and Boy Meets World, season 2. I don't know why nobody likes Boy Meets World! Come on guys! Little Cory, little Shawn! Feeny! Fuh-fuh-fuh-Feeeeny! Sorry the clip didn't work the other day. Stupid Angelfire, not letting me link to MY OWN STUFF! Psh!

Aaaanywho, my site might be down for a little while again for a bit of maintenance. So, don't freak out, it'll be okay. Heheh, I mean, not like too many people would notice to begin with! Haha! I'm going to mess with the intro some more... maybe create some degree of scrolliness... ooooohhh... ahhhhh! We'll see.... Take care everyone, have a great weekend! I know I will, since Saturday is my last day of work and then HOLIDAYS!! Whooo!!! Fruits Basket beckons....

"Over and in, last call for sin/
While everyone's lost, the battle is won/
With all these things that I've done/
All these things that I've done/
If you can hold on..." -The Killers (All These Things That I've Done)

Wow. Is it just me or has everyone on my friends list just dropped off the face of the earth?! Maybe it's just summer holidays or something like that, but I used to visit twenty people every day, and it's down now, to five. Yes. Five. I don't know where everyone has gone, but come back soon! I miss you! XD Have a great holiday and everything, but no, really... come back soon!

"I'm looking through you, where did you go?/
I thought I knew you, what did I know?/
You don't look different, but you have changed,/
I'm looking through you, you're not the same..." -The Wallflowers (I'm Looking Through You)

Not too much to say today... I mean other than...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Thanks everyone! It really means a lot to me that you all keep coming by, even though I'm kind of a slacker and don't always visit.. Heheh.. >_< D'oh!

But I've been slacking off in almost every department. I need to book a Christmas party. Like, NOW! There's going to be nothing left. I gotta get on this in April or May.. Ahh well, it'll be alright. I hope. And my summer reading list just keeps growing. It never gets any smaller because I never read anything! As Mr. Feeny would say... "I want you to go home and open a book!" What?! Yes, I've been watching Boy Meets World again. How much do I love the Feeny Call? A lot I say!
Click here for the Feeny Call. You'll be glad you did! Consider it a reward for being so awesome. Either that or punishment for being cuter than me. Hopefully I've done it right and you can hear it... I'm a little useless when it comes to this sort of thing... Heheh. Enjoy!!

"We can dance if we want to/
We've got all your life and mine/
As long as we abuse it/
Never gonna lose it/
Everything'll work out right..." -Men Without Hats (Safety Dance)

Wow... just... wow.. You ever get the feeling that inanimate objects are out to get you? Yeah, well I've never gotten along with the bread slicer at work. We all know that, right? I end up ruining at least a half dozen loaves of bread every time I have to use it. I have to have a little talk with it before I turn it on... **threatening expression** "Alright slicer... I don't like you, and you don't like me... so we can do this the easy way, or the hard way... I'll leave it up to you..." So today, I go at it, load it all up, it's ready to go. I flick it on and walk around to the front to catch the bread as it's coming out and the blasted thing starts spitting blades at me!! What the.... Yeah! Piece of garbage... Alright, it was only one blade, but still! What the hell?! So I left a snarky note for the department manager.

The ironic part about all this is that we all know that the machine is a piece of junk. Practically an antique, I'd say. So everyone is always joking about it throwing blades around. So when Bologna got back from her break, and I said "guess what the bread slicer just did" and she said "ummm... shot blades at you?" she was pretty shocked when I said "Yeah, how did you know?" Hahaha!

Yeah, so that was my day... I'm hoping yours were full of fun and NO flying pointy things... Because, owwww....
