Alright, it's time for complaining! Hahah! So I got suckered into volunteering Sunday morning for a pancake breakfast. I was actually kind of looking forward to flipping pancakes. It's fun. But when I get there, I discover that the people who organized the thing had brought like twenty volunteers with them. So I was like "dammit!" So I came home and made my own pancakes thankyouverymuch! I could have slept in a little... Ahhhh well..

After that I got dragged all over town to see first the boat racing at the lake, which was cool to see. And then to the fairgrounds to see the pretty cars go really fast. *shrugs* What do I know about cars, anyways? Heheh, that was pretty cool too though. We thought it might be fun to take the minivan through the slalom course, but they wouldn't let us.
Took a cruise past the "Show and Shine" in the park to see all the classic cars...

Later in the evening we made the mistake of trying to walk the dog in the river valley. The mosquitos are absolutely viscious. It's like they drink my bug spray and then laugh at me. Not fair. So not only do I have countless bites on my arms, face and neck, I smell like Deep Woods Off... Gross... Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! It was fun-ish, at least! XD

Hmmm.... Saturday. I pretty much slept the day away. that comes from having stayed up until four in the morning I guess.. But it felt really good! Haha!

Okay okay, so it's a pretty dumb award, but I thought it was funny! But it also reminds me that I've been neglecting my sorry excuse for a main page. I should really try working on that sometime soon. Heheh.. Find some new fonts or backgrounds or something. Work on the organization for sure. I'm not a very organized person and it shows! Haha! So I worked at the theatre tonight, bartending. It's always a good time and on top of that, you get to see the show for free. Bonus! I love live music, and I love to laugh (you all know that! Haha!) and this company always does such a good job. If you're ever in AB, call me up and we'll totally go see a show! Everyone loves sketch comedy, right? Right?! C'mon, don't deny it!

So, while I was standing behind the bar serving up drinks, I can see out the window to the next street over, which is all blocked off for Street Machines weekend. Everyone's got their fancy classic cars all shined up and are cruising up and down the avenue. Very cool if you're one of those people who will do just about anything for your car... Heheh, and I think there's drag racing going on at the fairgrounds, so that could be fun to watch. Have a great weekend guys, I think I just might!

It's officially the weekend for me now... with time off even! Yeah, go me!! My cousin is here now, and the "welcome basket" turned out pretty well. Thanks for all the good ideas! The plane was delayed a couple of hours so she got in pretty late, but anyways, now to have some fun!

A loooong but ever productive day. Got a bunch of stuff done at work, and in a reasonable amount of time too. Good enough. One more day and then an entire weekend off for me! Yaaaaayyyy! I can't wait. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself though. Hmm.... Not think about stuff, that's for sure! Haha!

Anyways, I did something tonight that I never thought I'd ever do. I had a flash of artistic inspiration and did some new art. That's not what is surprising. The shocking part is that it's a drawing od Heero (of Gundam Wing) and *gasp* Relena. AAAaaaahahhhh!! I'm incredibly anti-R, so I don't know what possessed me to do it. Heheh, and it didn't turn out so great so I guess it's alright. She gets what she deserves, which is a crappy Con-drawing. Haha! Take THAT, Relena! It's up in the fanart section, so you can see for yourselves what I mean.

So, my cousin from Florida is coming to stay with us for a while and I'm supposed to make her a "Welcome Basket", since she's arriving today (Thursday). What the hell do I put in a welcome basket?! I dunno... I'll run around tomorrow and get some stuff I guess. I'll improvise. Yeah, that'll work! Owww.. I've got a mosquito bite. I think I might have West Nile Virus now guys...

Well now... if my Jedi mind control powers are truly strong, there should be no one left reading this post! So I'll just mention what a spectacularly crap-tastic day Monday was. Haha! Well, not really, but it was enough to put a little stress on me. Someone at work (*cough*my boss*cough*) screwed up the schedules and left us short staffed by about three people today. Two of my supervisors stayed two hours late to help us out, and good thing too because if they hadn't I would have just fallen right over! I swear. I mean, yeah, I'm good... but I'm not THAT good... So as soon as my shift was over I made a run for it. No looking back. So when my boss gets back from his *ahem* FISHING TRIP, I hope he hears what a gong show it has been around here lately! If that isn't motivation to do things differently, then I don't know what is!!

Really nothing to say here today... Work on Sunday was killer. Not because it was busy, but because it was dead and I had to think up things to do so I wouldn't get hauled up to the boss' office and catch hell for doing nothing. Heheheh... So I spent three hours this afternoon walking around looking for things to make labels for. Fun times, eh? I fear I have become boring...

Well it's settled then. You guys get all the good, happy, fun news, and the rest of the crap gets saved for the LiveJournal, away from prying eyes. It's currently set to 'friends only' so if we're friends and you feel like reading some bitchy ranting every now and then... Heheheh. There really isn't anything there yet anyways, since I'm pretty damn happy today, but oh, you can bet there will be. I haven't got the drive to custmize it to bits and make it all pretty like this page, but neither do I give a damn! Haha! Anyways, my username over there is the same as here...

I had a lovely Canada day on Friday. Before he left for work, Winn called me. Heheh, the Vonage works. And that was reason enough to smile while I was at work, since it was a booooring night, everyone being at barbeques and whatnot. I put up signs all night. *goes cross eyed* Then I drove like a bat out of hell across town to get to the C-day fireworks. They were pretty good. They fire 'em off over a lake so it's really pretty.

After that, went and found myself a house party. XD (didn't have anything to drink though) Had a visit with some friends who now live a couple of hours away. For some reason, I now owe Dean a steak. I dunno why... One thing is for sure though, I must stop being so antisocial. Hahaha! I miss my friends a lot...

I seem to have given you guys the wrong impression again. I don't want to abandon theOtaku, but I am thinking about abandoning this site. Make sense? I've got several options in dealing with this and none of them involve losing touch with you guys. One is to do nothing. (Hahahahah! yah right!) Two is to keep posting but watch what I say, to the point of saying next to nothing. Three is to create another account here. And four is to sign up for a LiveJournal or something like that where I can lock my posts up. That last one seems most sensible to me. What do you think?

In any case, all my info is right up there *points to the left*. You can pretty much always get ahold of me. I would miss you guys too much to leave for good. *drowns in sap* Gah, save meeee!!

Alright, now that that's over and done with... Onto a much happier topic.. To all my Canadian friends.. Sita, Darkspirit, and ummm... I know I'm forgetting someone. I'm sorry!!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!! So, go eat some poutine and say "eh" and "beauty" a lot. I'm gonna climb out on the roof and watch the fireworks later.

Debate.... No song... no smiley..
Tonight I am seriously considering abandonning this site. Don't be worried now, I don't think I could ever leave for good, but I think I've said it before, nothing is sacred for me here. Some of the very people I want to get away from, have followed me here, and have even gone so far as to start checking up on some of my friends' sites to see how I interact with them. I want it to stop! I know that one such person will probably read this, and I know it souds really harsh, but I'm sorry, that's the way it is.

To be quite honest, I'm a little upset that this person has called the things going on around here lately (concerning me) a "Soap Opera". That's bullshit. Soap Operas are pure fiction. This is life. When it comes to my dealings with this site and the people here, I feel like I'm being made fun of, like this is something trivial that has no meaning, and I don't like it one bit...

So, here at the end of this post, I still haven't decided what I'm going to do. But one thing is for sure, I'm NOT saying goodbye...
