Heheh, still got that perma-grin. (see post below...) So work was totally bearable today, and a bonus, I got to work with one of my favourite people (as opposed to annoying girl) and I got a bunch of stuff done that has been sitting around for a few months! XD Very productive if I do say...

Aanywho... As I type, it is raining again, and some places to the west are under heavy rainfall warning. It never ends. It's nice and cool now, but if it gets hot again, then I'm going to have to be worried about more damn tornadoes. I tell you guys, it's super fantastic to look up to the clouds and see a swirling vortex of DOOM! Hahaha! (note sarcasm!)

*collapses* Oh wow. What a day that was... I'm STILL lost for words! XD Guess I should maybe think about explaining myself, eh?

Got up this morning and did an hours worth of yoga. That felt soooooo good after not dong any since... I can't even remember when! So now I'm all bendy again and hopefully doing that more often will keep me from getting sore from standing around at work all day!

Did a little site reworking, as you can see! Got rid of my fanlistings, because I just don't really care about those anymore. I've got a place for them on my main site so maybe I'll stick 'em there instead. Anywho, the banner with the celtic runes is one that I made. I have a ring that my sister brought from Scotland with those markings on it. Took a long time to get them to look right on the banner, but not bad, eh? The idea behind "Love, Loyalty, Friendship" is something I really believe in. Well, that and it just looks so damn cool! XD Take it if you want it, or ask me for the code. I'm good at sharing. Still can't find an avatar I like better than this one though, so I'm keepin' it!

Aaaand finally.... the highlight of my day! (hahahah!) I made a phone call. Not just any ol' phone call. It was VERY long distance to someone I've never talked to before. Yes.. it's true... I called Winn! and it was hilarious! Of course, neither of us knew what to say, so I just kept thinking to myself "don't say something stupid, don't say something stupid!" Meh, I'm sure I did anyways though! Hahaha! So it was short but sweet, and unbelievably cool to finally hear his voice. So I've had kind of a perma-grin going on all day. Hopefully it'll last through work... Happy Monday! (as happy as Mondays get, that is..)

Double Bill!! Double Kill Bill!! Whoo!! I just sat through four hours of absolutely gratuitous, gory violence... and it was awesome! There was a "grown up" party going on at my house tonight, so my sister and I just went and hid downstairs and watched both the Kill Bill movies. I really want a sword...

On another note... I want a cabana boy. (I said what I said) Sitarose and I have decided that they are an absolute necessity for the summertime. How much do I love that song. I've got some friends who used it as their wedding song. *sigh* So pretty...

And in the words of Nickelback (everyone's favourite) "Something's gotta go wrong 'cause I'm feelin' way too damn good". Heheh. No complaints from me today! It was a rather gorgeous day, and when I got on the computer this afternoon I discovered that my favourite cousin who is living in Scotland just added me on her MSN. (Hi Dani!! Hahaha!) She had her webcam going and we spent a couple of hours remeniscing until I had to go to work. But it was just so cool to talk to her, since I'm soooo bad at keeping up with emails and letters, which we spent a LOTTA years writing back and forth!

So off I went to work... and it was pretty boring all in all (but I'm not complaining!!) We got another rainshower.. But this one was very non-threatening, and there was even a rainbow. sooo pretty... I've got pictures, but I'm too damn lazy to put them up right now, since my photo transfer software has a bit of a complex and dosen't like to work after other programs have already been used. So I'd have to restart, put them up and then restart again... You're all probably wondering why I don't just get a new computer, since there always seems to be something going wrong with it! XD One of these days I will!! Have a great weekend!

In other news.... well, there really isn't any. I'm just a little tired lately. Don't know why, don't really care. All I know for sure is that the scheduling at work has become an absolute nightmare. I don't think anyone is really very happy right now. I'm sure not! They're pulling weird, made up shifts out of nowhere, and giving people 6 days rather than the maximum of 5 we're supposed to get. You CAN have 6, but only if you agree to it, which no one has. Soooo... I shall have to use my super-fantastic Union Steward powers to fix this, like usual. Haha!

Anyways.. been sitting here talking to Winn on MSN. Little bit worried since he dosen't quite seem himself. But he says I shouldn't be... But he so, knows I'm going to anyways! Take good care everyone! Happy Friday!

Tiga and Darkspirit, you guys are in BIG TROUBLE!! You have taunted the weather by saying the "R" word, and look at where it got me!!

This is the scene over my store this afternoon! My mom took the picture from my house. When I left for work, it was all sunny and nice (for once!) and an hour later these weird clouds started moving in. I could see them from my workspace, so when I saw a funnel cloud forming I got on my phone and called my house. So out of THAT cloud, came three funnel clouds. I see on the news that TWO of them actually touched down, not just one, like I thought!

So, anyways, the picture above is what was going on right OVER MY HEAD! and we got pelted with golf-ball sized hailstones for a few minutes... it eventually passed over us and did end up turning into something bigger once it got east of the city. The newscasters are saying it touched down a few kilometers outside of town. I don't know what kind of damage it did though...

So, when I say "DON'T SAY THE "R" WORD", then for the love of God, DON'T SAY THE "R" WORD!! All I want is 25 degree weather, with no wind, and no ominous clouds. Is that so much to ask? IS IT?!?!

**Breaking News** I'm such a hypocrite! Haha! I went to download that song (can't stop the rock) from puretracks.com because I had a freebie coming and I'm crazy about that song. It got through about halfway and the it quit on me, so it was a waste of time and a waste of my freebie. (dammit dammit dammit) I'm kind of anti-pirate which I suppose includes anti-filesharing. So When I freaked out and just went and got it from LimeWire, that was bad. Somebody punish me! Heheheh..

In other news, no more ummm... I don't want to say the "R" word, because it'll do it again if I say it. But we all know what I'm talking about, right?! That stuff? That comes out of the puffy white things? In the sky? Could I be any more vague? hmmm... possible... Yeah... So anywho, no more of that, and the sunset was really pretty. One of these nights I think I'll climb out on the roof and watch it. Nice view. And then I'll be able to see the stars again, and I haven't bothered to look up in such a long time!

Found out that yesterday's shift ditcher wasn't ditching. She called in sick and new boss just never told anybody. *rolls eyes* I was pretty chapped to find that out on Saturday morning. If we had known that, we wouldn't have been calling the poor girl all night trying to figure out where the hell she was at! Dammit.

Anyways, today (Sunday) is Father's Day. So if you didn't get your Dad something nice (and I forgot, heheh oops!) at least tell him you love him. Because that's really important. And make him breakfast while you're at it....

I bet you guys are getting tired of hearing me complain about all the rain, eh? But... *sigh* it isn't over yet! As I was leaving for work this afternoon, the sky to the southwest was absolutely black, and the lightning show was absolutely insane! The actual rain held off just until I got to work, and then BAM! it poured, and when I say that, I mean POURED! People were coming in absolutely soaked! Hahaha! And after a few minutes they just stopped coming, and there was nobody there but me and my co-workers. Boring. But it was nice that it wasn't so busy, because the chick I was supposed to close up with totally punked out on her shift! Couldn't believe it! So I spent the last two hours all alone. *snif* I was SOOOO LONELY! Wahhh! Heheh, and wouldn't ya know it, that's when it gets busy again. She's goin' down! *shakes fist* Ahhh well...

Well, there's a pretty dark sky looming over the park across the street. This is NOT a picture from today, (didn't have time to take one) but imagine it almost twice as dark as that, and you get what we got today!

On another note, I seem to have buggered my knee again. Only I didn't to anything to hurt it. Last year at about this time I blew it out playing basketball, so maybe that has something to do with it.. In any case, it dosen't want to bend much. Guess I should probably put some ice on it or something! XD Happy weekend!!

Gah! It never ends! Cloudy all day Thursday, which broke out into thundershowers. No more, please! *squeezes rainwater out of hair* I was hoping it was going to be nice so I could go read outside and I did for a little while, until it got cold and windy. But I finished my book anyways...

Other than that, a most uneventful day. I would however, like to know what exactly is the point behind a 'veggie burger'. Now I know some of you guys are vegetarians (my sister is too), but man, those things are terrible! I enjoy being a meat-atarian and I hope to never have to go through that experience again. *ahem* To quote my favourite philosophy prof again... "If God wanted us to be vegetarians, He wouldn't have made kittens so darn cute you just want to eat 'em!" Ummm, not that I've ever had kitten... No really, I would never! Heheh, that was pretty much the extent of what I learned in class this year! Haha! Alright, I'm exaggerating, but I'll always remember it, because the grosser and more offensive the example, the better! Words to live by, right Paul?! So happy Friday everybody! (I swear I missed a day in there someplace... Feels like it was JUST Friday...)
