Isn't this interesting. I have managed to find myself allied with the lovely miss SitaRose in an all out war against Howee and HeeroYuy77. *sigh* It's funny how they think they can win. Our army is superior and being girls, we are sneakier and have the ability to multitask. Mwahahah! Sorry gentlemen, you don't stand a chance!

Howee, let's put it this way. I am a tree hugger, but only to a certain point. I recycle and conserve water and all that good stuff. But I will never be an 'activist' or a vegetarian. (since I love my Alberta beef) If God wanted us to be vegetarians, he wouldn't have made kittens so darn cute, you just wanna eat 'em! (only kidding guys! please don't kill me!!) Off to work I go!

   oddness and clarification...
When I left for class this morning, I got to the Uni and went to buy my parking pass for the day and found that someone had taken a label maker and provided a VERY detailed description of how to make such a purchase. Stuck it right on the machine. Most likely the University parking officials, and most likely done on MY behalf! Heh. Last week I went to do the same thing, the damn thing wouldn't print out my pass, so I got irritated, cursed at it and left a note written in sharpie marker on my dash telling the parking dudes not to give me a ticket until they had checked that machine. I got back six hours later and no ticket! Yea! But they must have figured I was just an idiot (which I am! Heheh!).

So I went up to the pool observation deck to sit and study (yeah, I skipped class again), and I couldn't help but notice how eerily quiet it was. No one was talking, the radio was off, and there were only two people swimming laps. It was creepy! It's usually totally busy in there! I managed to accomplish something anyways.

Lastly, I fear that in past posts, I may have given you all the wrong impression. So just to clear things up here, I'm not an all out tree hugger. Just a little bit. And since I've been talking an awful lot about this Phil. of Religion course, I don't want you all to think I'm a 'foaming at the mouth' Christian. I'm actually an atheist. *insert shocked gasp here* It's not BAD to be an atheist. I have faith, just not in God.

Holy crap! (no pun intended there) I talk too much! Here's a reward for making it to the end!!

   Tour of Gondwana?!
Holy Hanna! My mom's cousin has just informed the family that he is going on a tour of the frickin' WORLD by bicycle! This is her cousin that we only met for the first time in the summer at my grandma's kegger party. (my grandma is so cool!) Anyways, he lives in southern California and he biked up to Central Alberta for this party. He had to leave home in Early May to get there in time.

So for this world tour, he's starting out in Australia, going through Asia and Russia, Europe, Africa, flying from South Africa to South America then heading north towards home. The whole shebang is supposed to take a couple of YEARS! *falls over* He's a very col guy, but I think he might be insane! (only kidding) Anyways, the last time we saw him (I guess it was the first time too, at the kegger) There was a ridiculous hailstorm and the entire city was flooded, and a bunch of tornadoes were sighted in the areas surrounding the city. Super! Check out the freeway!

What fun! I spent the next three days mucking out the flooded basement. Nasteh!! What an impression to make, eh?

   Daylight savings is eeeevil!!
Well, gotta set the clocks ahead tomight. That's one less hour of sleep for me. I value my sleep time. Hopefully I don't screw it up and I'll be on time for work tomorrow! Heheh! Just got home from a play at the Uni. I'm sure I've told you guys about it once before, but hey. It was the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Very funny, even though I can't stand Shakespeare! (sorry English teachers! heheh!) Three guys (in tights) got through every play in two hours. It involved hockey, Othello as a rap song, very much fake vomit, and audience participation involving the phrase "Cut the crap Hamlet! My biological clock is ticking and I want babies NOW!" (That was my line!) Anywho, cheers to those guys for making me laugh! (Psh! Like it's really hard to do...) Off to sleep I go. TheO is doing maintenance at this moment and not allowing commentage, so I shall see you all in the morning perhaps (after I fire up the coffee maker!). That is if I can get up on time for that...

   Oh, the Trews... Great band... I really am tired of waiting though. I really want to know whether or not I blew that test! Thank you for the hugs yesterday everybody! It helps a lot to know that you're all there! I am in a much better mood today even though I skipped the Pauly Shore. My sister and I went for season 2 of 'Futurama' instead. Gotta love that show! And then I stayed up late (of course) to watch 'My Family'.

That's Nick in the middle, he's my favourite, and I'm not entirely sure why he's not wearing any shoes...

But now it's back to thinking about stuff. I have another Philosophy paper coming up. This is the topic I think I am going to attempt to write about. (Key word here being 'attempt') "Can sense be made of my having a tiff with a God whose existence I deny?" That's my prof. talking there (yeah, the one who said 'poo in your hat'). He's Jewish and claims he's an atheist yet he can still "have a tiff" with God. Strange, no? I think the answer is that yes, sense can be made of that, but it depends on the KIND of God we're looking at. If you have any input feel free to send it my way! I have a feling it's going to be me sitting here thinking about God for, oh, I don't know, maybe a week or so straight! I pretty much went cross eyed last time! Heheh!

Sorry I haven't really been around this week! It's been a weird couple of days. I haven't really been able to concentrate on anything lately. And things are messing with my head, which I hate! I'm pretty sure I bombed that test I took the other day, but if I didn't, it's damn close. I'm having kind of a hard time remembering to smile today. I'm thinking maybe a little Pauly Shore-fest might help cure me. The movie Bio Dome will always be funny. Anyways, I'll catch you all later...

I've already been to work today and the snow is finally melting. (Yay!) I don't really want to go out to a bar. The ones here are pretty skanky. (*note* Last month one of them actually hosted "Girls Gone Wild". Eeeewww...) I actually just kinda want to go to sleep, but I know that's not going to happen before midnight! Heheh!

Have fun finding your eggies tomorrow guys! Eat a chocolate bunny for me, ears first! And uh, while you're at it, maybe a turkey bunwich. It sounds like I shan't be having any. *sigh* Oh well...

   Suntan lotion? For apples?!
I'm feelin' a lot more...together today. Thanks for the kind words everybody! I'm studying my brains out for this Linguistics test, which I'm pretty sure I'll fail anyways. I can draw phrase structure trees like mad (not even going to be on the test!) but I can't tell you a thing about complement options or inversion! Bah! In between that, I've been working on some more art, which always makes me feel better! Duo again...Clicky here to see him.

And I've discovered this show that is frickin' hysterical. It's called 'My Family'. I get it on YTV after midnight. I don't know if any US stations carry it. But if any do, watch it! It's Brittish comedy, (which is usually the funniest thing ever). I'll be sitting downstairs cracking up and my mom will come down to see if I'm okay. I've got her hooked on it now too! Mwahhahah! Anywho... I must be off to work in a bit, so I will be around to see you all later this eve. TTFN!

   Victory party under the slide!!
Well, it's been a couple of days, mostly just me trying to maintain my good humor.

Yeees, I've been irritable lately. Little things seem to set me off, like crying children, idiots in my classes who think they're being clever but really just make no sense, and little Chinese ladies who know virtually no english and can't drive a car decently enough to save their life! (ask me about that last one sometime...*eye roll*) I didn't bother to post anything just because I couldn't find anything worth saying (yet here I am, babbling incoherently again!) And I think I may have had a little case of cabin fever. Been cooped up because of all the crappy snow. It's spring now for gods sake! Melt dammit! Okay, enough of me bitching, eh?

I've been reminded by my campus newspaper that this weekend is Easter! Mmmm...chocolate... Oh, wait... too bad I'll be working. Meh, hopefully somone will be so kind as to save me enough turkey to at least make a bunwich... (*note* bunwich = sandwich in a bun)
