   Keep the Car Running
It's been a strange week. I've been kind of up and down. Not too bad until the weekend and then kind of a basket case.. Ahhh well..

Work has been somewhat of a gong show. Our manager requested last month that some stores in other cities send us some of their clearance merch that they couldn't get rid of. We've been selling the stuff like mad since it's been friggin' hot and there's been virtually no rain all summer long. They all said they'd ship it out within a couple of days and they didn't. So we recently ended up with 45 boxes of summer clearance stock all at once. We have nowhere to put that crap. There have been deliveries of 30-40 boxes of FALL merch coming in every week. We have nowhere to put THAT either. And our backroom is more or less the size of a closet. *sigh* Doomed...

Anywho, I judged parade floats again this year. The reporter from the local paper followed me around for a little while again. She didn't ask me very many questions though. That's good, because it would have ended up being the same article as last year's. Heh.. It was a fun time though. And then I had to go to work and unpack some boxes of new stuff. So there's me, running on three hours of sleep (I haven't been sleeping very well). It was an interesting day. But there's a new shirt that I think I need to buy.. It's black. Go figure. I buy all the black shirts.. Great night everyone..
