The Magic Goats of Presto Island
My reading load has become somewhat heavy. I should have anticipated that since reading loads for English courses usually involve several novels. It'll be about a book a week. So far it's not very difficult reading, and not as gruesome as some of the short stories we've just finished. Like, the kind of stuff you don't want to read on a full stomach because it's so horrible..

But anyways, I'm going for a program check on Tuesday. They'll tell me if I've taken enough courses and they might tell me that I can apply to graduate. That would be pretty wonderful.

My coworkers and I figure that there are a lot of people out there that behave in public in ways that they would never behave in their own homes. For example, when trying on your own clothes, trying to decide what to wear, do you just throw everything in a pile on the floor? Probably not. I'd like to think that most people take better care of their own things. Is it too much to expect for people to take better care of things that DON'T belong to them? I feel like a mom some days. A mom who is tired of picking up after whiny children who can't put a shirt back on the hanger and who just throw it on the floor instead. I don't think I get paid enough to put up with some things..

Anyways, I'm doing too much thinking. It hurts. And "The Magic Goats of Presto Island" is a manifesto, a story, if you will. Google it if you care enough to read it. I had a laugh. G'night..
