Bleh. I totally thought it was done with the rain and the thunder and crap, but Ooohh, nooo... Had to rain some more. Woke up to sounds of thunder. Went out to clean the pond filter. It seems to have moved further away from the edge of the pond and I had a rough time reaching it. I almost fell in, which would have sucked. A lot. Then I had a rough time putting it back. Left for work in the rain. Got home in the rain. It isn't raining as I'm typing this, but that could change any second.

Aanywho... The river crested earlier on Thursday afternoon, so it got a little higher even that what's in the pictures...

So, those are TREES down there. Not just lil' bushes. TREES!!

See that red building down there? That's the city's water treatment plant. About ten years ago, there was another huge flood and half the city was down there, sandbagging all around it. And good thing too! It would have been totalled! Well.. Happy Friday everyone! If anyone is feeling particularly generous, how's about sending me a boat? Canoe? Uhhh.. pair o' water wings? Eehhhhh...
