"Dammit/
Dammit/
Dammit/
Dammit..." -Scatterbrain (Mama Said Knock You Out)
Same shit, different pile...
I knew it was wishful thinking when I said that work might be good. It wasn't. I don't think I should go into detail, but I was super-pissed off, and one thing after another very nearly led to a total breakdown. Heheh.. I actually cried a little and had to go upstairs. That's never happened before. And would you believe that the most unexpected person got me to smile? Weird... Didn't last long anyways. If I can make it throught the weekend...
Alright, no more depressed, moody Con. So, my prof gives us this assignment to correct the footnoting errors in an exerpt from an essay. In two pages (double spaced) I found 13 errors. Yay me. Now, the question is, do I take it one step further and correct all the errors in the assignment sheet, and risk being labeled a smart-ass?!? I found ten in there altogether, so it almost seems intentional. It's suspicious but I don't know for sure.. It's just things like bad grammar, and commas in bad places and misspellings. All things that the computers spell and grammar check would catch, but were not corrected. Should I apologize for being a smart-ass? Or should I apologize for being the kid of two teachers? Should I apologize for using the phrase "smart-ass" in University circles? Gah! I just don't know. I guess the worst that could happen is that he'll be offended and fail me... Which seems imminent anyways. So I guess I might as well do it. *shrugs* At least no one will call me a dumbass...
