"I went down to the beach and saw Kiki /
She was, like, all 'ehhhh'/
And I was, like, 'whatever!'/
Then this chick comes up to me and she's all like,/
'Hey, aren't you that dude?'
And I'm, like, 'yeah, whatever!'..." -Liam Lynch (United States of Whatever)

***I get a lot of flack for liking this song. But it's not my fauly the novelty hasn't worn off yet!***

Today was... okay... Productive to say the least. I went over to the Uni to talk to my Apocalypse prof and have my essay topic approved. In the email he said it had "potential" so I wasn't sure if that meant 'go for it, knock yourself out' or 'uhhh... good thought, but no.' But he was jazzed about it, so that's hip.

After class I went to a Scrapbooking Open House. Oooooooh, all the pretty shiny things... Of course I bought some stuff, which included some fun mounting paper, stickers (I love stickers) and a wicked backpack to carry all my stuff around in when I go to workshops and stuff. It'll double as a school bag for the rest of the semester. heheh.. What made me really happy though, was the fact that she said I had done a great job on my one book that I've been working on. I know it's just a little praise for a little ol' scrapbook (with pretty simple layouts) but she's a pro, so I appreciated that.

After that I went with my mom to the craft fair. Not a huge fan of craft fairs, but hey.. I was on a roll today.. I was surprised at how many people there recognized me from work. Customers and all.. But anyways, we bought these awesome poppy seed rolls. Hard to describe. Like a cinnamon bun but with poppy seeds inside? I dunno.. and then I discovered that a guy I had gone to school with since grade four has been keeping bees. (?!?) Yeah, so we bought some of his honey in this cute little bear shaped squeezy bottle.. Tasty stuff..

So yeah, nothing majorly exciting. Nothing life altering. But nothing depressing either. Eh? Have a great weekend people and keep on rockin' in the free world!
