"Clap for the Wolfman/
He gon' rate your record high/
Clap for the Wolfman/
You gon' dig him till the day you die..." -The Guess Who (Clap For the Wolfman)
Wow. Long time, no post. Have had nothing to say, really..
So, I went and saw X-Men 3 the other night. It was cool, but I was expecting some closure and got none. I smell a fourth. There was not nearly enough Archangel...
On my way home from the theatre, I was driving behind a little red car. I like to talk to other drivers even when they can't hear me. I was telling her that she didn't HAVE to go 20km/hr. The limit is 50km/hr. Then I noticed the big sign in the back window. "NEW DRIVER". Wow. that must be embarassing. I think I'll make one for my sister and use it while we're out practicing. Maybe people will be nicer that way...
So. BEFORE I went out to the show I was putting on some mascara and a little piece of hair got in the way and I mascara-ed it by accident. Thought I got it all out, so when I left the bathroom I was surprised to see some black mungus in my hair out of the corner of my eye. I reach for it. I attempt to get it out. Turns out.. it's a spider. *falls over* Just a little tiny one, but still... IT WAS ON ME!! eww..
Again, before I went to the show, I got a call from a frantic co-worker. She said that everyone had punked out on their shifts for Sunday morning and that there was no one to package all the bakery crap and she was panicking. I had her give away my night shift for me, and I went in at 8:00am and did it. And I did a damn good job of it for someone who's only ever done it once. And all while listening to the Sunday Morning Oldies Show. on the radio. And then I sliced 36 dozen hot dog buns. *facepalm* In 45 minutes. Somebody call Guinness? Anywho, the point is, it was a long day.
Lame one-liner #77: Life is way too complicated at 8 o'clock in the morning. Indeed it is... Happy Monday everyone.
