Surprise, Con. No company after all. After going to bed at 2:30am and then getting up at 8:00am I'm kinda tired. I got up at 8 to do all the cleaning up of the house so that everything would be nice for the cousins when they got here. I had to go to work in the evening so I had to start early. Had some tunes on, did a couple of loads of laundry, linens mostly. Sorted all the crap and unopened mail that was piling up on my desk. I'm bad for letting things pile up until the last minute. Just like in the song. "I'm addicted to stress, that's the way that I get things done..." So yeah. In the end, I don't have to give up my space. *relieved* It would have been nice to see my cousin though.
So... When I got to work, there were an unusual number of screaming kids around. I can't deal with that. I start to twitch. My supervisor, Matt knows this and says that I'm welcome to get away from the front of the store and help him pull some expired crap. *grin* Turns out we're pulling "expired" Christie product. Y'know, cookies and stuff. Two full cartloads later... Heheh.. We cut all the barcodes off to send them in for credit, but then they don't care what we do with the product. So I got to try some fudge covered oreos, and some peanut butter/chocolate oreos. Yum. And free too. Double yum. I also got a tip because I'm talented enough to write on a cake. Yeah, $3. I was amazed at how well it actually turned out. Now that I think about it, I actually left it sitting on the till.. *sad face* I doubt it'll still be there in the morning.
New glasses today! Maybe.. My optician shops in my store on occasion, so when I saw him today, I asked him, "Is it time yet?!" He goes, "*excited gasp* No, but maybe tomorrow." Funny guy. *whines* I wanna be able to see nowww.... if I go to sleep it'll seem that much sooner. Goodnight everybody. *doles out fudge covered oreos*
